Position Overview:
We’re looking for a personable and proactive Luxury Vacation Agent to be the face of our company in downtown Ogunquit during the busy spring, summer and fall seasons. This seasonal role is all about sparking conversations, creating connections, and introducing people to our luxury rentals and property management services.
You’ll be stationed at our Ogunquit location during peak foot traffic times, especially weekends, and will play a key part in driving interest and engagement in our brand. You should be outgoing, creative, and ready to try new ideas to pull people in and make an impression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent our brand as the on-duty agent at our downtown Ogunquit storefront.
- Engage walk-in visitors and passersby with friendly, easy conversation.
- Introduce our vacation rental properties and management services in a natural, compelling way.
- Cross-sell services, suggest properties based on conversations, and generate interest and leads.
- Come up with creative ways to draw foot traffic and build awareness (think displays, small giveaways, community tie-ins, etc.).
- Distribute branded materials and collect contact information to build our network.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional space that reflects the luxury experience we offer.
- Track inquiries, leads, and guest interactions for follow-up.
Requirements:
- Must be available on weekends, especially during high-traffic periods (May through early fall).
- Naturally outgoing, approachable, and confident starting conversations with all kinds of people.
- Sales or customer service experience preferred, especially in hospitality, retail, or real estate.
- Comfortable learning about our properties and services to speak knowledgeably and helpfully.
- Creative mindset – not afraid to suggest ideas or think outside the box to attract attention.
- Familiarity with Ogunquit and the surrounding area is a plus.
