This historical home, previously known as the Puffin Inn, is centrally located on Route 1 in the beautiful town of Ogunquit. The home is just a short 1 mile, walk to both Ogunquit’s main beach and the Footbridge beach. Go a little further and you’ll find yourself at the breathtaking seaside footpath known as the Marginal Way, which leads to Perkins Cove. This prime location has it all: high end restaurants, shops, and galleries to explore. If you don’t feel like walking, you can hop on the town’s trolley to get you to your destination.
The property features a three story main house and a two bedroom carriage house above a free standing garage. In between the two buildings you will find a space to share a meal at the picnic tables or gather around the fire pit to roast marshmallows.
The main house features 7 bedrooms with 1 queen bedroom on the first floor, 2 queen bedrooms and a bedroom with 2 twin beds on the second floor, and 1 king and 2 full sized bedrooms on the third floor. The carriage house contains 2 bedrooms each with a king bed. Each bedroom has an attached full bathroom for ultimate privacy and a comfortable sitting area perfect for reading a book or watching tv.
There is a large kitchen with stainless steel appliances and several sitting and dining areas including a bright closed in porch with small breakfast tables. The large open front porch is lined with rocking chairs that look out to the flower gardens. Sink into an Adirondack chair and soak up the afternoon sun, and simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
