Tenant Placement Process
Maine Street Property Management offers an a la carte Placement Service (Lease Only Service).
Interested in managing your property yourself, but don’t have time to take calls and show your property to numerous tenants? If running background and credit checks seems daunting this is not a problem! We can find a tenant for you. We have a rigorous tenant qualifications process in order to get the right tenants for your rental property.
Placement Only Services:
- Marketing the property
- Responding to all inquiries in a timely manner
- Schedule appointments and show property to prospective tenants
- Provide feedback to the owner regarding showings, rental rates, and marketability
- Tenant screening includes; credit, criminal, sex offender registry, landlord references, employment
- Lease generation and all addenda which complies with the State of Maine requirements
- Execution of lease, collection of security deposit and rental funds
- Move in inspection report with photos
Once the property owner approves of the tenant, the lease is signed, and the tenants have moved in the placement only service is complete.
The fee for this service is equal to one month’s rent.
