We offer full-service property management for long-term rentals including stand alone services such as tenant placement only.  We also specialize in full-service vacation rental management. We also offer valuable services such as Home Checks and Condo Association Management. Whatever you are looking for, we’re confident we have something that will fit your needs. Skye Ouellette

Owner / CEO

Skye is the CEO of Maine Street Property Management. She founded the company after leaving the corporate world, where she built a successful career as a consultant and project manager. Under her leadership, Maine Street has grown into a leading property management firm, known for its expertise and commitment to excellence.

Skye and her husband, Joe, are passionate about real estate, and experienced property investors, actively expanding their extensive portfolio of residential and commercial rental properties in the Wells area. From hands-on, sweat equity renovations in their investing early days to now having a full maintenance staff and overseeing multi-million dollar renovation projects, Skye and Joe have built a reputation as industry experts in real estate investment, property rehabilitation, and large-scale renovations. Skye has made it Maine Street’s mission to help real estate investors tap into this wealth of knowledge and continue building their portfolios with confidence.
 

As a licensed Real Estate Broker with Anne Erwin Sotheby’s International Realty in York, Skye is a real estate expert.  Her focus is 100% on running Maine Street, so she rarely is active in the sales world these days, however she strongly collaborates with her colleagues at Anne Erwin to provide comprehensive real estate services—from deal analysis and negotiation to purchase—seamlessly transitioning into full-service property management.

Outside of work, Skye enjoys spending time with her family and their dog, Charlie. She has a passion for flower gardening and loves taking in the beauty of Maine’s beaches.

Joe Ouellette

Owner / CFO

Joe is the CFO of Maine Street and spends his time in operational and financial management. Joe brings a solid foundation of process and analytics to our team. 
 
Joe retired from a mechanical engineering career as the Director of Research and Development.  He has extensive knowledge and experience in designing and building fully automated manufacturing equipment for implantable medical device components and holds a patent in ultra-high speed photography.  This translates to: Joe can help solve ANY maintenance problem! He has incredible creativity, problem solving skills, and is experienced in home investing and renovation. Joe recently designed a customized gate code system to supplement an aged RFID reader for one of gated community clients in Wells.
 
Outside of work Joe enjoys spending time with his family, using his tractor, and building cool things!
 

Michael LaPlante

General Manager

Michael, our General Manager, plays a key role in keeping our team aligned, supported, and moving in the same direction. He works closely with our leadership team to make sure everyone has the tools, clarity, and accountability needed to do their jobs well.

Michael helps integrate the company’s vision and goals into day-to-day operations, supporting all aspects of the business while keeping a steady focus on follow-through and communication. He is hands-on, practical, and known for bringing structure without overcomplicating things.

With a long background in property management, operations, and team leadership, Michael supports our staff across departments and helps ensure that our homes, owners, and guests receive consistent care and attention.

Michael leads with a white-glove service mindset, focusing on doing things right, paying attention to the details, and supporting people every step of the way.

In his downtime, Michael loves traveling, enjoying great food, spending time with friends and family, and living life to the fullest, always keeping the glass half full!

Randa Vashon

Director of Vacation Rentals

Randa brings more than 15 years of experience in hospitality and vacation rental operations to her role as Director of Vacation Rentals here at Maine Street. Her career has been rooted in working with inns, hotels, and multi-property hospitality operations throughout Maine, with a focus on steady operations, thoughtful pricing, and quality guest experiences.

Randa has extensive experience overseeing rates, availability, and booking performance, along with the day-to-day systems that keep properties running smoothly. She understands how consistent standards, clear communication, and well-managed processes support both strong owner returns and positive guest stays.

Known for her practical and detail-oriented approach, Randa values strong relationships with homeowners and guests alike. She recognizes that each home is a significant investment and approaches every property with care, respect, and attention to detail.

As Director of Vacation Rentals, Randa oversees all aspects of our Vacation Rental department, with a focus on supporting homeowners, optimizing bookings, and ensuring each property is well cared for and well represented.

Outside of work Randa enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Maine with her family and her dogs. 

Justin Epps

Long-Term Rental | Senior Property Manager

Justin is Maine Street’s Senior Property Manager in our long term rental division.  Justin has extensive experience overseeing large, multi-site residential portfolios. He brings a strong background in operations, budgeting, team leadership, and resident relations, with a proven ability to improve occupancy, streamline operations, and deliver high-quality service.

Justin is known for his hands-on approach, clear communication, and commitment to protecting asset value while creating positive resident and owner experiences.

Outside of work, Justin enjoys Maine’s beatiful beaches, and spending time with his family and friends.  

Domekin Francis

Senior Maintenance Technician

Domekin is an experienced maintenance technician at Maine Street with a strong background in customer service. Known for his problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, Domekin consistently delivers high-quality work, earning 5-star reviews from our tenants.

His expertise includes a wide range of skills from carpentry to flooring, to fixture repairs.  There is never a dull day for Domekin, and he thrives in the dynamic nature of our property management business- and always with a smile. 

Outside of work, Domekin enjoys spending time with his family, cooking on the grill, woodworking, or just relaxing with his lovely wife. He also enjoys attending professional football and baseball games!

Bill & Mona Ouellette

Mona and Bill (Joe’s parents) are the MSPM cheering squad, and two of our biggest supporters.  They started helping us at Maine Street in our early days by performing our Home Check Services and preparing all of our vacation rental laundry for our cleaners.

Mona tragically left us in June 2022, leaving a huge hole in our hearts.  She was so proud of the business and was always bringing in snacks and goodies for our staff.  We have continued on with her tradition by continuing to stock an employee drink and snack pantry- and of course, dedicating it to her. 

Bill can often be seen around the office maintaining our beautiful office suites or lending a hand on our manicured grounds.

Hytasha Saunders

Cleaning Manager

Hytasha brings nearly 20 years of hospitality experience to  Maine Street.  She is an industry veteran in housekeeping management, and we are thrilled to have her as our Cleaning Manager.  Hytasha is known for her attention to detail and high-quality standards.  She expertly oversees a large team of our cleaning staff, provides coaching, and ensures quality work. 

Her role includes conducting routine inspections of our homes to ensure they are cleaned and prepped to our luxury standards. She also monitors and maintains our supplies, cleaning schedules, and manages our onsite laundry facility.

Hytasha is deeply committed to ensuring our homes are always to the luxury standards our guests expect. Her leadership ensures a seamless experience for both guests and our awesome cleaning team!

Outside of work, Hytasha enjoys driving with the windows down, feeling the fresh air and breeze, which brings a sense of relaxation to her mind and soul.

Will Honan

Sales & Hospitality Manager - Vacation Rentals

Will brings over 20 years of experience in marketing, sales, and business development to Maine Street. In his role, Will partners closely with property owners to maximize their rental investments, manages the marketing of luxury vacation rentals, and ensures seamless bookings and guest communications to enhance the overall guest experience.

With a keen focus on driving bookings and fostering business growth, Will oversees property listings, refines marketing strategies, and collaborates with real estate agents to generate new leads. His creativity and strategic mindset consistently elevates our brand, ensuring it remains a leader in the vacation rental market.

Before joining Maine Street, Will founded a media marketing company where he developed expertise in brand strategy and content marketing across diverse industries. His background also includes leadership roles in real estate, where he excelled in contract management, customer service, and process improvement.

Outside of work, Will enjoys traveling, exercising, cooking, and taking on home projects with his family!

Braedon Dunfey

Maintenance Manager

Braedon manages our maintenance department including all of our maintenance tasks, coordination of our outside vendors, as well as our internal maintenance offerings and staff.  He also expertly performs our Home Check Service.  Braedon is a seasoned professional and has a vast knowledge in the maintenance world, with excellent workmanship.

Braedon is a Civil Engineer who comes to us with vast work experience as a Chief Engineer, managing the grounds and several employees at a 4 diamond resort in the Teton Mountains of Wyoming.  

Outside of work, Braedon enjoys competitive sailing, camping, and hiking!
